Founded in 1989, The Lincoln Museum is a community-supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Abraham Lincoln’s legacy.
The Lincoln Museum is on the National Register of Historic Places and includes 12 authenticated life-size dioramas from Lincoln’s life, special exhibits, memorabilia, and the Lincoln Days Art Collection.
Located on Hodgenville's historic downtown square, The Lincoln Museum overlooks a statue plaza featuring works from the 1909 Lincoln centennial celebration as well as more-recent bicentennial activities.
The Lincoln Museum’s mission is to provide educational, artistic, and cultural exhibits and materials related to the life and legacy of Hodgenville’s native son, Abraham Lincoln, to the local populace as well as to thousands of annual visitors and to serve as a catalyst for economic development in the Historic Downtown area as well as LaRue County.
We hope that you'll join others from around the state -- and around the nation -- in supporting our efforts to protect and promote Abraham Lincoln's Kentucky connections all year long.
